Michael Blosil Photo, the adopted son of American Artist Marie Osmond, named Michael Blosil had committed suicide, he jumped to his death from the family apartment building in Los Angeles, the suicide occurred at 9 P.M Friday night
Source said that the Michael Blosil suffered severe depression which caused him feel that he no longer fit in this world and thought that he had no friends. Here is the quotation I took from Michael Blosil article:
Michael Blosil is reported to left a suicide note which explains as to why he suicide, after dealing with a lifelong battle with depression and feeling as if he had no friends and could not fit in to this world

Michael Blosil Childhood Photo
Poor boy, he was only 18 years old, there is so many things to do at that age, of course useful ones and certainly not committing suicide. But what can I say, I don’t suffer depression as he did thus I don’t how does it feel for suffering great depression as Michael suffered. But still I don’t get a long with any decision which lead anyone to suicide
So good bye Michael Blosil and rest in peace there:)
See you in the next post

This is so sad to me, so many young people turn to suicide. My condolences go out to them because death isn’t easy for anyone.
Why did you have to write “the adopted son”…….this was her SON. The entire article is poorly written.
Thoughts go out to the entire Osmond and Blosil families.
Marie Osmonds son Michael, another sad example of the inadequacies of this countries medical/mental health system.
We see so many commercials about treatments and programs for adult mental health issues, but nothing about treatments for children. Getting a proper diagnosis and treatment, let alone effective treatment, for children in this country is rare at best.
I stirred this pot a few years ago in Cortland County NY when I found that our mental health clinic planned to screen Jr High students for mental health issues. Why did this make me angry? It’s because our county already had over 700 children receiving psychiatric drugs, (prescribed by family doctors or pediatricians), without the benefit of a psychiatrist and hundreds of others forced to seek care many miles away, (I consult with a child psychiatrist in Israel for my youngest child). Basically, at that time, we had no child psychiatrist, therefore parents could not access necessary psychiatric care for their children.
Of course there’s more to the story than that, but my point is this…..This country, not just Cortland County, in in the midst of a pediatric mental health crisis, and unless something changes soon, we continue to hear stories about teenage suicides and grieving parents left to pick up the pieces, not because they failed as parents, but because our mental health system failed their kids.
I apologize for this dissertation, but this is an issue I am very passionate about for many reasons, many personal.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the Osmond and Bilsol families as they deal with the loss of 18 year old Michael.
